Higher Bound Ministries

All about me and my life...

I would like to share my testimony with you all.
My name is Kevin Kiser, I am 42 years old. I was born and have lived in East Tennessee until July 2011 when God gave us the opportunity to move to Pineville, Kentucky for my wife to get her Bachelor's degree in Church Ministries with a focus on counseling and youth, at Clear Creek Baptist Bible College. Now God has moved us home to East Tennessee to further our ministry there.
My parents, brought me and my brothers up in church.  My father is a preacher as well and has pastored for different churches throughout my life. My mother is a wonderful, God-fearing woman, who has been a very great inspiration to me and my brothers.
I gave my life to the Lord Jesus Christ when I was the young age of 13.  I announced my calling to the ministry in June 1993. Then married my lovely wife, Cindy, in June of 1994. Twin daughters were blessings sent from the Lord, in 1998. Our girls are now 13 years old and in the 8th grade.  Kristyn has began piano lessons and is improving daily.  While Cameryn has taken up the recorder and is progressing greatly.  They love to read, make up plays, spend time with friends, and most of all they love the Lord Jesus Christ.
Kristyn gave her heart to Jesus on Nov. 26, 2007, in our revival.
Cameryn gave her heart to Jesus on June 12, 2008, at our bible school.
Our son, another blessing arrived in 2001.  Cabe is now 11 years old and in the 6th grade.  He is all boy and loves sports, bikes, tractors, and girls!  His school principal has given him the nickname, "Casanova".  Cabe is a very quick learner and has started playing the guitar and he is doing great.  Cabe also loves the Lord Jesus Christ, and gave Him his heart on June 12, 2008, at our bible school.

In 2002, we got the news that I was in need of a liver transplant, and was then put on a waiting list.  I waited three and a half years before recieving my transplant in November of 2005.  I am doing very well with my new liver, my routine has changed a little, but all is good. I am working a little for the local newspaper and I referee for basketball and baseball.  I have done some broadcasting on our local radio for our high school basketball teams, also.

I have been and am still continuing in my service for my Lord Jesus Christ, so others can hear of His sacrifice for our sins, and find their way to Heaven.
I am waiting for the Lord to send me where HE wants me to further spread the good news of Jesus.

February 4, 2012 I accepted my first pastorate at Hardy's Creek Baptist Church in Jonesville, Virginia. I was ordained on March 18, 2012 at Lakeside Baptist Church in Vonore, Tennessee, our home church.
God has moved me from our little church in Virginia.

As of March 2013, we are living in South East Tennessee and have received the news that has again changed our lives.  I am waiting for doctor reports and test results to learn what God has in store for us now.  It will all be to the blessing of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Whatever happens, we know that God is in control and I am a winner either way.  We just ask for your prayers for us and our family as we await news.  GOD BLESS YOU!
We are looking forward to continuing God's work, wherever HE LEADS, I'll GO!

Job 1:21-22 ...The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.  In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.

I grew up and live in East Tennessee.  I love sports and camping.  I love the Vols (football, basketball, and baseball). Go Big Orange!
